This cavity-mount probe uses very narrow beams and low frequencies as well as wide beams to transmit depth and temperature data over your Garmin Marine Network.

A version of the R599LH cavity mount version, this 1 to 3 kW bare-wire plastic probe operates to a depth of 10,000 feet (3,048 meters). It has an operating frequency of 28 to 60 kHz and 150 to 250 kHz and a beamwidth of 9 x 23 degrees or constant at 25 degrees. Cavity mounting is installation dependent.

The probe kit is supplied with installation instructions. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damage to the boat.
