Preston Innovations is proud to present the next generation of long rods specifically designed for carp fishing in Europe. The STR range is based on the blank from our Euro Carp range, allowing full compatibility for previous owners of the tip and ensuring the latest carbon technology is used to create rods that are simply a joy to use. The range consists of 5 rods sharing the same blank, making them fully interchangeable along with a brand new generation of top kits. The brief when creating this range was: comfort, power, balance, compatibility, and precision, and all these aspects have been achieved to create our best European range of rods to date! We developed new top kits for the Euro Carp STR rods, with the key design concept being simplicity! With this in mind, the top kits for each rod in the range are identical, so whether you purchase the 8.5m Edge rod or the premium STR 1300 model, you know the top kits are the same, high quality, and fully interchangeable. In the range, there are 2 power kits of 290 cm available in black or grey, a 3-piece version of 440 cm is also available in black for deeper locations, as well as a short 1-piece kit of 185 cm that can be extended to 290 cm using the short kit extension. Each top kit features depth markers at 1 cm intervals, essential for adjusting depths, lead patterns and distances between the float and the connector.
